British Blues Rock musician Keith Thompson,is a veteran British blues-rock guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer who has been active in the music industry for over 40 years. Based in Worcestershire (originally from Cheltenham) Keith is a highly respected figure in the British blues-rock landscape, known for a style that blends the grit of 1960s pioneers like Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore with a modern, sophisticated songwriting sensibility.
*Based in the Midlands, Keith's professional journey began as a teenager touring Germany. In 1978, he joined forces with Mick "Wurzel" Burston (later of Motörhead) in the band Bunter, gaining early acclaim in the national music press. Since then, Keith has established himself as a prolific solo artist and bandleader, releasing 15 albums, including the critically acclaimed Transcendence (2019) and his most recent release, Enigmatic Blues (2024).
*A versatile musician, his work extends beyond the stage; he has composed for television (including the AA's "Road to Recovery" theme) and even provided the soundtrack for the best-selling computer game Grand Prix 2. His live performances--frequently featuring members of the Climax Blues Band and renowned saxophonist Patsy Gamble--are celebrated for their passion, technical flair, and "pure magic" (Blues in Britain).
*Sir George Martin Project: He was involved in a songwriting project produced by the legendary Sir George Martin, which was performed at the O2 Arena in London. Some of his songs have been covered successfully by other touring artists.
